Nolan's Odyssey Has the Same "Flaw" as The Dark Knight

Both times Christopher Nolan adapted a beloved story, the internet filed the same complaint: he stripped out the impossible stuff. No comic-book Gotham in 2008. No gods in 2026. The complaint is accurate and it's exactly why both films work.
