Lake Mead at a Record Low | The Same Spot From March to August

Lake Mead has changed dramatically in just a few months. In this video, Theodore and I return to the exact same spot we visited back in March—and the difference by August is hard to miss. Water that once came right up to the rocks is now gone, leaving behind a huge stretch of exposed shoreline. Of course, it wouldn’t be an Adventure Dad trip without a little chaos. We try to catch a few fish, explore the newly exposed shoreline, and somehow end up rescuing Theodore’s shoes from the infamous Lake Mead mud.
