55 Years with a 50 Dollar '65 Plymouth Drag Car

In 1971, Davey Boyd bought a 1965 Plymouth drag car for just $50. Fifty-five years later, he still has it. This is a story about old-school drag racing, a car that became part of a man’s life, and a kind of ownership you just don’t see much anymore. Davey has seen a lot of changes in racing over the years, but some things are hard to let go of. Join us on Heart & Horsepower as Davey tells the story of his ’65 Plymouth, the memories made behind the wheel, and what it means to hold on to something for 55 years. Fifty dollars. Fifty-five years. One hell of a story.
