Devil May Cry 3 Walkthrough Part 7: Forces Collide (FINAL BOSS FIGHTS & ENDING)

Having managed to penetrate into the deepest layers of hellish dimension opened by Arkham, Dante encounters him. With Arkham, now completely overtaken by Sparda's power and sporting the demon warrior's physical likeness gloating as his pursuit of ultimate demonic power has ended, he ends up unleashing its full strength to face Dante in combat and ends up horrifically overwhelmed by it as his physical form degenerates into an massive, almost shapeless blob. As the fight between Dante and Arkham progresses, Vergil also arrives, revealing to have survived earlier fall into the chasm and plans to reclaim Sparda's power from Arkham. With their own differences temporarily put aside, Dante and Vergil team up to defeat Arkham and ultimately manage to do so, causing Arkham's monstrous form to evaporate and leaving behind Sparda's sword and two halves of amulet which fall into an hole with both brothers jumping after the items and each managing to collect one half of the amulet as they fall. Meanwhile, Arkham, restored to his real form, falls out of the demonic dimension and lands back on top of the tower just as Lady ascends it. Severely injured by the combination of the fall and injuries sustained in an fight with Dante and Vergil, Arkham switches between begging his daughter for help and justifying measures he undertook in his pursuit of godhood with Lady, no longer feeling any sympathy for her father as she fully came to terms with the fact that he is a cruel, power-hungry monster willing and capable of stepping over anyone to reach his goals, proceeding to kill him by shooting him several times before suffering a brief psychotic breakdown. Meanwhile, back in demonic dimension, Dante and Vergil land into an underground stream that contains a portal leading back into human world and both try to grab Sparda's sword with Vergil managing to do so. With Arkham defeated and Vergil still wanting to claim Sparda's power for himself, thus demanding the second half of the amulet, Dante ends up forced to fight him one last time with the violent duel pushing both brothers to the limits of their abilities but ultimately ending with Vergil defeated as Dante slices his midsection open with his sword. Injured but still alive, Vergil admits defeat and urges Dante to leave as the portal to the human world is closing while he himself slowly backs to the edge of the stream leading into the chasm, declaring his intention to stay behind in hell as it was their father's home, ultimately leaping into the void even as Dante tries to pull him back. Later, Dante returns to the tower and descends it, meeting up with Lady in the ruined street near its enterance in order to return her bazooka to her. As they look on at the devastation caused by the tower's emergence, Dante starts crying, but claims that it's just rain staining his face, despite the rain not falling. As he explains that "devils never cry", Lady says that sometimes, devil may also cry. Just then, a large horde of demons surrounds them, with Dante and Lady teaming up to eliminate them all. Soon after the events in the tower, situation returns to normal with Dante comitting himself full-time to his demon hunting business which is officially christened Devil May Cry, inspired by Lady's words. Meanwhile, in Hell, Vergil, still injured from his fight with Dante, encounters Mundus, major demon sealed away by Sparda 2000 years earlier and, assuming himself to be powerful enough to defeat him like Sparda had, charges towards him with his sword drawn, unaware that he will be defeated and forced to become Mundus' servant known as Nelo Angelo. And with that, walkthrough of Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is finished on this channel, dear gamers.
