550 Kilometer. 7.300 Höhenmeter. 48 Stunden.
Danke an alle Peaks & Plains Teilnehmenden.
Peaks & Plains 2027 kommt: 28.–30. Mai 2027.
See you out there! 🚴

Peaks & Plains 2026 – Take Three!
Peaks & Plains is an unsupported ultracycling road bike challenge that takes riders across the highest peaks and through the widest plains in the heart of Germany.
On May 29, riders set off from Kanuklub Börde in Magdeburg, heading through the Magdeburg Börde region into the Harz Mountains and back again. Along the way, the race became a unique challenge for everyone. Flat tires, crashes, steep climbs, exhaustion and physical limits pushed the riders to their very limits. An intense weekend full of highs and lows, with every rider writing their own story.
Sebastian Trimborn was the first to cross the finish line after 19 hours and 48 minutes. Anne-Mira Thanner was the fastest woman, finishing in 26 hours.
161 riders took the start, 127 made it to the finish, and 34 had to end their race early. One thing is clear: you’re all legends. Whether you finished in 19h48min, made it in just under the 48-hour cutoff at 47h55min, or didn’t finish at all.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part in Peaks & Plains. Thanks to everyone who cheered riders on along the route. And thanks to all the dotwatchers who followed along and kept their fingers crossed day and night.
Peaks & Plains 2027 is coming: May 28–30, 2027.
See you out there! 🚴
