A Bittersweet Day at Dollywood | Remembering Dolly Parton

This trip to Dollywood felt different. We headed back to the Smoky Mountains for a day at Dollywood, but this visit came just days after the passing of Dolly Parton. We still did what Dolly would want people to do at her park — we rode rides, laughed, explored, and enjoyed everything that makes Dollywood special. But we also took some time to slow down, remember Dolly, pay our respects, and say goodbye to the woman whose heart and vision made this place what it is.
