Melendir - Blood on the Iron Gate

Heavy Metal. Song is made with Suno AI Pro Lyrics: Drums of war in the mountain’s throat Black banners rise on the western slope Ten thousand fires on the ridge tonight Orc horns scream, there is no hope Our walls are old, our sons are young The northern wind smells of rust and bone They crawl like ants from the burning pit Hungry for a blood of throne Raise the steel, hold the line Tonight the sky will bleed Blood on the iron gate Fire in the night Orc and man, no mercy now Only the dying light Blood on the iron gate Shields against the storm We will not kneel, we will not fall Until the dawn is born Axes strike through the splintered oak Greenskin tide breaks on the wall Pitch and arrows, a rain of death Watch the first ranks fall Their lord roars with a tongue of ash Blade of bone and a helm of skull We answer back with a king’s last oath Steel and fury, hearts of coal Raise the steel, hold the line Tonight the sky will bleed Blood on the iron gate Fire in the night Orc and man, no mercy now Only the dying light Blood on the iron gate Shields against the storm We will not kneel, we will not fall Until the dawn is born The gate is cracked, the ram strikes true The captain falls, the banner burns But a thousand voices rise as one For every ember that still burns If this is the end, then let it be loud Let the mountains remember our name Sing of the ones who stood in the dark And lit the world with flame Blood on the iron gate Fire in the night Orc and man, no mercy now Only the dying light Blood on the iron gate Shields against the storm We will not kneel, we will not fall Until the dawn is born © 2026 Jyrki Brusell.
