With their agricultural produce destroyed, farmers are worried about their livelihood and survival. They expressed disappointment over former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s visit to the area, claiming that he travelled along the road but did not visit them. “Our paddy is gone, and even our vegetables are submerged in water. What will we eat now? How will we survive? Our leader Naveen came to our area today, but he did not come to meet us. We were waiting to share our grievances with him,” said the affected farmers. The farmers shared their plight with OTV Berhampur Bureau Chief Ashok Brahma, who interacted with them and highlighted their concerns.
