The Last Promise: Chapter 19x

The most boring chapter ever, just reinforcements appearing at the same place every turn. This can be easily 1-turned by getting Lirin to crit Cid using the killer lance I just bought. Of course that requires some luck, and I know Lirin definitely used up all of them during the previous chapter. So I decided to take the opportunity to train a few units like Tekun and Rex. Cid always appearing in huge maps is beyond me, is he trying to compensate for something? Just kidding. If you have your fair share of bugs encountered in the game (like me), you will understand how the bugs are triggered, and you can take advantage of it and apply it here. Remember how Noah doesn't appear if the NPC mercenary is still standing on the same spot? Yeah, just do the same thing, block the spawn points for the reinforcements, and less of them will appear, so your party can grind until time's up or you can get rid of Cid when you got bored. The scariest part of this chapter is basically the top right where 4 enemies spawn per turn. The enemy count will go out of control if you don't reduce the numbers on time. As long as you have 3 or more units who can take out an enemy in a single combat, you are good to go. Just remember the 3 simple steps: Attack, Block, Wait. Cid is still the same Cid, hence what you can't do back in chapter 5x, you can do it easily now. Still, you need to have a decent amount of speed to prevent getting doubled by him. Remember to make him attack from range so he drops the Adamant lance. --- Inanna reaching level 20, she's gonna promote too.
