Another Saturday night, another racetrack, and another reason I might need to fire the whole crew! This weekend we loaded up and headed to Crossroads Motorplex to put a BRAND NEW Eleanor go-kart to the test for the very first time! With a bigger race coming up, we decided to save our good tires and try to make the best of some worn-out rubber. Between fighting motor issues, trying to figure out the new chassis, and everybody in the crew having something to complain about, it made for one heck of a night! Despite all the headaches, we managed to bring home a P6 finish! But the biggest takeaway from the night was just how well this new Eleanor chassis turned and handled. Even with worn-out tires and motor problems holding us back, the kart showed a ton of potential! I'm really excited to see what this thing is capable of once we get everything dialed in and put some good tires underneath it! At the end of the day, that's grassroots racing! A little frustration, a lot of trash talk, and plenty of laughs along the way.
