Namco System 246: Ridge Racer V Arcade Battle [4K 60FPS Gameplay]

Recorded from real hardware using the Elgato Camlink 4K and OSSC This is NOT emulation—we are running on real Namco System 246 arcade hardware! I finally got around to capturing some gameplay footage for Ridge Racer V Arcade Battle! Since I still don't have proper racing pedals for this setup, I had to get a little hacky and wired up some potentiometers just to get the car to accelerate. Because of that, this definitely isn't a high-skill showcase, but man, I love this game. Aside from the gameplay, I’m also showcasing my custom widescreen patch for this arcade title! Overall, it’s just a phenomenal racer. I’ve always loved the PlayStation 2 port, but there is something special about the true arcade version. If you ever get the opportunity to play it—whether on a real cabinet or via emulation—you absolutely should.
