Last year’s study of the Book of Ezekiel part 1 (chapters 1–24) focused almost entirely on God’s judgment and dire prophecies concerning Jerusalem and Israel. It felt as though we were pilgrims traversing an endless, dark, and dense forest. However, this year’s study of Ezekiel part 2 (chapters 25–48) marks a dramatic turn; God grants Israel a series of astonishingly wonderful promises. Moreover, these promises extend beyond Israel to all of humanity: the Lord Himself will shepherd His people (Ezek. 34), bestowing a new heart and a new spirit (Ezek. 35–36), establishing a new covenant of peace (Ezek. 37), and providing a new Temple and a new land (Ezek. 40–46, 47–48). We eagerly look forward to sharing these biblical teachings—which are "more to be desired than the finest gold, and sweeter than the drippings of the honeycomb" (Ps. 19:11)—with you all at the upcoming BSP in the new year!
