WILD KINGDOM | Two Queens, and the Hunters Who Become the Hunted

On the African plains, the lioness Asha leads her pride and hides three small cubs in the long grass. But she is not the only queen here: Shaba, matriarch of a large spotted hyena clan, has a family to feed too — and she is ready to fight for every meal. The great herds are moving on, and the prey left behind are giants that fight back: buffalo, hippos, giraffes. And every night, the roars of two strange male lions come one hill closer. When every danger arrives on the same night, can one mother keep all three cubs safe? #wildanimals #lions #hyenas #wildlife #africa #savanna #naturedocumentary
