Even though it is not an fair comparison, in some cases I have found many people who come from Project Management background think that knowing the differences helps them create a transition path to become a Scrum Master from Project Manager. This video explains the differences between the two roles. Many Project Manager & Scrum Master comparison on the internet undermines the role of Scrum Master. In comparing these two roles, I involved participants who attend Professional Scrum Master (PSM) class to generate the information about project manager and then I compare the list they've made to the Scrum Master role.
