Sampling Gospel Records for Hard Beats // Making a Beat from Scratch on the MPC One

Let’s make a hype beat by sampling Gospel records on the MPC One! You don’t always need soul or jazz samples to make hip hop. Sometimes you will get incredible results when you branch out and start sampling from other genres. I started sampling Gospel records a while ago, and it has led to some of my best beats! For this beat I used the MPC ONE as the standalone tool to flip the sample, lay down drums, and sequence the bass.
