The Vara Band | 5 Piece Wedding Experience

We built The Vara Band because your wedding should not sound like someone else's wedding.. Couples spend weeks battling the same question: band or DJ. A band gives you something to watch and a room that feels alive, but a limited selection of music and a gap of silence between every song. A DJ gives you every record ever made, no dead air, and nothing to look at. The Vara Band exists so you don't have to pick. The DJ holds the floor all night with great mixing, energy, danceable tracks... no gaps — and live instruments play live on top of it. Every record here was chosen because it has a line a horn section can take. When the sax takes the hook on Mr. Saxobeat, nobody in the room is looking at their phone. Filmed on the Vara Live stage: pipe and drape, modern, black tuxes. Shot in 4K and recorded live. 0:00 I Cry (Just A Little) — Bingo Players 3:50 Man I Need — Olivia Dean (BARTS Remix) 7:50 No Broke Boys — Disco Lines & Tinashe 9:40 Barbra Streisand — Duck Sauce 12:40 Walking On A Dream — Empire Of The Sun 15:30 You Should Be Dancing — Bee Gees 19:20 Rush — Troye Sivan 21:40 Mr. Saxobeat — Alexandra Stan 22:50 Temperature — Sean Paul 25:30 Pink Pony Club — Chappell Roan x Coldplay & Avicii ──────────────────── ──────────────────── Vara books wedding DJs, live bands and DJ-plus-band packages across Albany, the Hudson Valley, and the Northeast, including horn sections, disco, house, and open format sets for weddings. #VaraDJs #WeddingDJ #WeddingBand #HybridWeddingBand
