YPS MOHALI - JANMASHTAMI & TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATION

Celebrating traditions. Honouring teachers. Inspiring young minds. YPS Mohali came alive with devotion and joy as the Foundation, Preparatory and Senior Wings celebrated Janmashtami and Teachers' Day together. The Foundation Wing saw its youngest learners shine, with Nursery students presenting their first ever choir performance featuring a soulful prayer and a Krishna song, while LKG students lit up the stage with a vibrant Janmashtami dance. The Preparatory Wing brought the festival to life through beautiful renditions of Achyutam Keshavam and Radha Gori Gori, with adorable little Radha and Krishna stealing hearts. The mood then shifted into a warm tribute to teachers, featuring a poem, a fun skit, a lively dance mashup and an energetic Bhangra performance by the teachers themselves, along with special awards and handmade cards. Over at the Senior Wing, students brought their creativity and humour to a Teacher's Day News segment, a School Trivia Quiz and the ever popular Teacher Doppelganger ramp walk, while teachers took the Teacher's Day Pledge. A spirited hockey match between staff and students added even more excitement to the day. A celebration of faith, gratitude, respect, creativity and togetherness, and the bond between teachers and students that makes YPS Mohali special.
