Joshua 1 explained. After the death of Moses, the Lord came to Joshua and spoke to him. Joshua was now in charge of entering the promessed land and theere was nothing that would stop him from doing so as God assured him of it. From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast, there shall not any man be able to stand before you all the days of your life.
