A skinny kid with glasses from Brussels, he found karate, then ballet, then a one-way ticket to Los Angeles with almost no English and almost no money. Bloodsport made him a star overnight. Fame, divorces, a habit he could not control and a diagnosis nobody saw coming nearly took it all away. This is the real story of Jean-Claude Van Damme, the Muscles from Brussels, and how he fought his way back. 0:00 - The story of Jean-Claude Van Damme 0:35 - Van Damme was a skinny Brussels kid 5:07 - Van Damme broke into Hollywood 9:46 - Van Damme became the Muscles from Brussels 14:21 - Stardom came at a heavy price 18:49 - Van Damme blacklisted himself 23:24 - The mirror showed him the truth 28:00 - Van Damme is still standing and kicking
