Learn Tagalog Lesson 4-1

This is the first video of Lesson 4. In this video, I introduce a conversation that will be the basis for the Tagalog training in the next few videos. The conversation centers around two men talking on the street. One man is asking the other for directions to the bus station. Asking for and receiving directions is an important part of a language to learn, especially if you will be going to a place where the language is spoken. I remember getting "turned around" in a city in the Philippines. I did not know how to get back to the main road to get the jeepney back. I also didn't know the name of the road. Luckily I saw a book store and said to the clerk "Kailangan ko ng mapa ng lungsod". She immediately took me to the map area, and sold me a map of the city. Anyway, it is good to know how to say left, right, straight ahead, turn left, turn right, you will see, until Rizal Avenue, etc, etc. I hope you enjoy the video.
