I Was A School Shooter - Then I Went To Prison For 20 years

Jon Romano was 16 years old when he walked into his high school with a shotgun and fired. What followed was a 20 year sentence in New York State Prison — two decades that completely transformed who he was and what he believed about himself and the world. In this episode of Locked In with Ian Bick, Jon tells the complete story — what led a 16 year old to walk into a school with a shotgun the 20 years inside that changed everything and the violent sword attack that nearly killed him the moment he got out. This is one of the most raw and honest conversations about trauma violence redemption and survival we've ever had on this show.
