A Warm Place in a World Far Away 🤍 | Futuristic Rain Ambience 🌧️

For thirty years, the man who lived above the clouds had breakfast standing up. There was always a call to answer, a screen to check, somewhere he was already late for. He had bought the penthouse for its view, though he mostly saw the city reflected in his laptop. Every evening, his daughter called. “Anything good today?” He usually told her about something he had finished. One rainy Thursday, the power went out. His screens went dark. The kettle stopped halfway to boiling. With nothing left to charge, he sat by the window. Across the gap between the towers, a small kitchen was lit by a portable lamp. A child was helping an old woman fold dough. Every piece the child made came out crooked. The woman placed each one carefully on the tray. He watched until they put it in the oven. Then he stayed to watch the rain. When his daughter called, he told her about the crooked dumplings. She laughed. After a moment, he asked what she had eaten that day. They spoke for forty minutes. The power returned after ten. The next morning, he cleared the papers from the chair opposite his own and sent her a message. “Breakfast on Sunday?” Then he sat down to drink his tea. Beyond the glass, the city was already hurrying. #WorldsAfterRain #ASlowerLife #QuietMoments #CozyPenthouse #RainAmbience #FuturisticCity #SciFiAmbience #SlowLiving
