Behind the scenes: Tenerife | Whale and Dolphin Conservation

In Tenerife, two captive facilities are still breeding whales and dolphins to create the next generation of performers. Thanks to you, our Don’t Go To The Show campaign lead Rob was able to travel to the island to push for change. He visited Loro Parque and Aqualand. At Aqualand, when the dolphins are made to jump during shows, they can see the ocean beyond their tank. Rob also had important conversations with those working in the captivity and tourism industries and the people visiting these attractions.
