PBL-Peoria Dream Team vs Crusens Ducks 10-04-2026

Dream Team pulled away with an 80-72 win over Crusens Ducks, a wire-to-wire grind that came down to shot selection and efficiency. Dream Team came out hot, built an early edge, and never let Crusens Ducks grab the lead despite a late push. The turning point came in the second half when josh hack caught fire from downtown, burying triples that kept the Ducks at arm's length every time they crept closer. The efficiency gap told the whole story. Dream Team shot 31-of-57 from the floor, a sizzling 54%, while Crusens Ducks limped in at 29-of-74, just 39%. From beyond the arc it was even more lopsided: Dream Team cashed 10-of-24 triples at 42%, compared to a cold 8-of-36, 22%, for the Ducks. Dream Team also dominated the glass on the defensive end, 32 defensive rebounds to 19, and moved the ball crisply with 14 assists. Aaron Strong did the dirty work inside, pouring in 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including a perfect 9-of-10 from two-point range, while grabbing 9 boards. Jamar Stewart was equally efficient with 19 on 9-of-13, working the mid-range and the rim. Hack chipped in 17, including 5-of-7 from three, and Ben Friday battled for 8 rebounds to anchor the interior. Levonta Nelson added 7 points and 9 boards off the bench. Crusens Ducks got monster nights from Adrian Ware, 26 points and 11 rebounds on 11-of-24 shooting, and Deshaun Jackson, 23 points with 3 triples, but the Ducks simply could not buy a three all afternoon, jacking up 36 of them and connecting on just 8. Player-3 added 9 with 3 bombs of his own, but it was not enough to flip the script. Dream Team moves to 1-0, Crusens Ducks fall to 0-1.
