Magnifying God: Experiencing a Vision Correction Through Worship | Dr. Gregory Lan Ijiwola

What if the greatest challenge facing the church today is not a lack of strategy, resources, or passion—but a diminished vision of God? In this powerful message, Dr. G. Lan Ijiwola teaches on Magnifying God: Experiencing a Vision Correction Through Worship, addressing how the minimization of God has quietly weakened worship, reduced mission, limited miracles, and diminished the church’s impact in the world. Scripture reveals that when God is minimized in our sight, everything connected to Him shrinks—but when God is magnified, everything rises. Dr. G. Lan Ijiwola emphasizes the centrality of worship, not as music or religious routine, but as the primary way God corrects our spiritual vision. Just as a lens does not make an object bigger but helps us see it clearly, worship restores our perception of who God truly is—holy, weighty, and glorious. In this message, you’ll discover: • Why minimizing God is a root issue behind many challenges in the church • How worship corrects distorted views of God • The biblical connection between awe, holiness, unity, miracles, and impact • Why the early church experienced power, growth, and favor when God was magnified • How restoring reverence for God transforms both personal faith and public witness This message is for anyone who senses that God has become too familiar, too casual, or too small in modern Christianity and longs to encounter Him again with fresh awe and reverence. When God is magnified, worship deepens, mission expands, miracles return, and the world takes God seriously again.
