Biblical Creation DEBATE: Ex Nihilo or Ex Materia (Christian & Latter Day Saint)

When creating the universe, did God utilize eternal (pre-existent) matter or create it exclusively by His own power (ex nihilo)? In this debate, I sit down with Connor Smith (LDS) to defend my position that God created the universe ex nihilo.
