Adventurer Karl Bushby has returned to his home city of Hull, UK following a 28-year walk from South America. Mr Bushby, now 57, set off from the southern end of Chile in 1998, when he was 28, vowing to walk all the way home without using any form of motorised transport. He returned home to hundreds of well wishers, international press, and family members to greet him. Karl's journey took him to 36 countries, and included being questioned by the Russian secret service and avoiding polar bears, amongst other things. • Subscribe to ITV News on YouTube: http://bit.ly/2lOHmNj • Get breaking news and more stories at http://www.itv.com/news Follow ITV News on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@itvnews?lang=en Follow ITV News on Instagram:   / itvnews   Follow ITV News on Facebook:   / itvnews   Follow ITV News on X:   / itvnews
