I Built the WARMEST Stone House in the Forest Completely Alone | Start to Finish

I built the largest stone house in the forest completely alone — big fieldstone walls, heavy timber, and everything inside made by hand. Just me and my dog. The stones came from the land around the site — large, heavy, and laid course by course without machinery. The timber elements are scaled to match: thick beams, solid framing, nothing undersized for a build this ambitious. My dog was on site every day, which made the long days alone in the forest feel like less of both. Inside I built all the furniture and set up every comfort by hand — a sleeping platform, shelving, a table, everything fitted to a space that's larger than anything I'd built before.
