8/27/26 Arcade World Record, Pole Position 2, Seaside. 78,410

This was played on an original upright arcade cabinet with all original boards and controls. Twin Galaxies tournament settings were used, D Rank, D Rank. 5 laps, high speed. The full video with the inside dip switches shown can be found on the Twin Galaxies site. First time finishing seaside in turbo after having it for 3.5 laps! For those not familiar, you achieve "turbo" after staying on the course long enough to get your top speed up to around 280, then you can go off road and regain your speed much much faster than normal. It also increases the top speed and you only lose turbo by crashing, staying off road for extended period or lifting your foot off the gas. It does makes the car much more difficult to control though, especially through the turns! My eventual goal is 80k.. but we'll see lol
