A Morning With My McLaren 570S Spider in Kyoto

Today I’m taking my McLaren 570S Spider out for a drive through Kyoto and up to the Takao Parkway — one of my favorite places to enjoy a car like this. We start with a coffee, take a closer look around the exterior of the McLaren, and then spend most of the video where this car really belongs: on the road. This isn’t really a traditional car review. It’s more about what the 570S Spider is actually like to own and drive, why I still love it, and some of the things I’ve learned from living with a McLaren in Japan. There’s plenty of driving, a few different camera angles, some POV footage from the Meta glasses, and probably a fair amount of me just talking about cars, life and whatever happens to be going through my head while I’m behind the wheel. For me, that’s really what Full Throttle Japan is about. Great cars and motorcycles are obviously a huge part of it — but so are the people, the roads, the places and the experiences that come with them.
