It features the reliable AS 1130 movement, often referred to as the “Wehrmacht Movement”, known for its durability and robust construction. The nickel-plated and chrome-plated brass case is heavily damaged and will undergo a complete restoration. After careful preparation, I will re-nickel and re-chrome the case using an electroplating process, aiming to restore it as closely as possible to its original condition. The hands will also be restored carefully, with a strong focus on preserving their vintage charm. The dial will be gently cleaned to maintain its original character while improving its overall appearance.
