PMD Challenge Event - In The Future of Darkness IL Race - friednarwhal vs hea1e

The PMD Speedrunning Community proudly presents the PMD Challenge Event! This was an event in January 2022 similar to the relay from early 2021, with each participant being placed on a team and running in a race on their team's behalf. There were a couple of key differences this time, however... For one, instead of having all of the races directly back to back and totaling up each team's time, for this event the races were scheduled individually, and each race was worth points, rewarded based on each player's position in each race (and also based on the length of the race, i.e. special episode races would be worth less than full game Any% races). All teams had equal opportunities to score points, and whichever team had the most points at the end would be victorious! The other key difference was the special theme of this event: ALL players could only sign up to race for games or categories they had NEVER speedrun before!! The main focus of this event was to challenge everyone to try speedrunning a new game in the series! This was the tenth race in the event. A race of "In The Future of Darkness", a Special Episode in "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky". The participants were friednarwhal and hea1e.
