How far is the edge of the observable universe and what would a journey there actually mean? Travel from Earth through orbit, the Moon’s neighbourhood, the heliosphere, interstellar space, the Milky Way, and the cosmic web in this cinematic science journey.
The universe is about 13.8 billion years old, yet the observable universe is about 93 billion light-years across today. Why? We’ll follow the evidence, unpack cosmic expansion, and separate the observable horizon from a physical edge. This is a scale-flight visualization: the distances are real, but no spacecraft could make this trip in ten minutes.
