Mega Man X Regenesis - Maverick Fortress #4 Cleared (Veteran Mode, Buster Only, No Upgrades)

This stage has no ranking screen, I guess because it only contains final bosses. But it was extremely hard to clear it in veteran mode with no upgrades at all. First, the two dogs are almost impossible to beat with no damage. I spent about 100 tries just to beat them. While I was figuring out how to beat them from the upper wall, I noticed that in some cases they got stuck and stop moving at all, until you hit them again with a strong shot (dash shot or charged buster). This is probably a bug, but I'll use anyway, since this is only the first fight and we could say that X learned to tame both of Sigma's dogs lol. The dogs are still quite hard despite this bug, sometimes I beat them quickly, and others they still killed me, even after learning their patterns. Second, the Sigma fight was frustrating, it relies heavily on luck and it requires fast reflexes. At the end of the fight he becomes even faster. Again, I took about 100 more tries just to beat him. After many attempts, I learned to hit him faster and safer, but it was still a tough task to just beat him. With more than 300 fights in total including the dogs, I could fight Sigma with more confidence and beat him about one out of 5 tries. The final phase was not an issue, I think they left it untouched from the normal difficulty. I beat it on my 3rd try, which ended my suffering of more than 300 tries in total. I only took a single hit from all 3 battles, without counting the wall enemy that hit me at the beginning, which mysteriously didn't get killed by the X-buster. Also, sorry for skipping the first dialogue between X and Sigma. After so many fights I didn't want to read it again lol. Credits to Justin Ross and his collaborators for creating this great fan game. Thanks for watching!
