New Tata Tigor Xpres-T 2026 Petrol + CNG Base Model. Is this sedan a strong choice for commercial use, taxi drivers and fleet owners? In this video, we cover real details, features and all practical points you must know before buying. The Tata Tigor Xpres T comes with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine (1199 cc, 3 cylinder) with about 86 PS power and 113 Nm torque paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The factory-fit CNG version uses the same base engine tuned for CNG with around 75–76 PS power and 95 Nm torque, giving a more economical running cost. Claimed mileage figures are roughly 19–20 kmpl on petrol and 26 km/kg on CNG, making it a competitive option in its segment for regular city and highway use. The Tigor sedan also offers a large boot space of about 419 litres for only petrol variant and 227 liters for CNG variant, decent ground clearance of around 170 mm, and seating for five adults which adds to its practicality for commercial running.
