Gluing & Truing Bandsaw Tires - Pt II

New tires are installed after a thorough cleaning of the wheels. We struggle with tire installation (they are giant, strong rubber bands!). The router is set up for milling shallow tapers which will approximate a crown. Note how uneven the as-installed surface is, which you cannot see or feel until it is milled!
