POSTCARD - Svalbard: Journey to the Edge of the World (78° North)

Dug out from the archives, here is a throwback to my 2024 trip to Svalbard a destination that had been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Situated at 78° North, deep within the Arctic Circle and halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole, Svalbard is a raw, high Arctic archipelago defined by polar desert landscapes, vast glaciers, and dramatic peaks. Despite its extreme remoteness, it remains one of the most accessible gateways to the true Far North. In this short travel film, I wanted to capture the quiet, rugged atmosphere of this frozen wilderness and share what it’s like stepping into the high Arctic.
