Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne - Episode 28 - Quilling Thunder (Orc Bonus Campaign Act 1)

The adventure across Durotar continues in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne – Orc Bonus Campaign, as Rexxar, Rokhan, and Misha complete several important quests before uncovering what could become the greatest threat to the newly founded Horde. The episode begins in Thunder Ridge, where the Beastmaster and Shadow Hunter continue their mission to gather six Shimmerweed for the elder shaman Drek'Thar. The Thunder Lizards have become strangely aggressive, forcing the party to battle through the dangerous valley before collecting every herb. Returning to Drek'Thar, he suspects a darker force is responsible for the creatures' unusual behavior. With the Thunder Herb quest complete, he rewards Rexxar with freshly brewed potions while beginning his own investigation. The heroes next return to Nazgrel, who is pleased to learn that the harpy raids have finally ended. As thanks for protecting the Horde's supply caravans, he sends Rexxar to the Armory, where the Beastmaster receives a powerful unique reward for completing the Harpy Threat quest. Before long, Thrall calls upon Rexxar once again. Reports have arrived of suspicious human activity near the Horde's borders, and Gar'Thok at the frontier outpost requires immediate assistance. The journey to the border is anything but peaceful. Along the road, the party discovers a devastated shaman encampment. One survivor remains alive—Morg Wolfsong. He reveals that traitorous warlocks have stolen a sacred relic from his people and begs Rexxar to recover it. Accepting the Warlock Cove quest, the heroes storm the warlock stronghold, defeat the traitors, and reclaim the sacred artifact. Morg rewards the party with the Sacred Relic for Rexxar and the powerful Shaman Claws for Rokhan, making both heroes even deadlier for the challenges ahead. Reaching the Border Outpost, Gar'Thok delivers troubling news. The only path forward leads through the dangerous Beast Den, home to countless Quillboars. If possible, he asks Rexxar to eliminate every last one of them, beginning the side quest Slay the Quillboars. The Beast Den proves to be filled with fierce enemies. Quillboars attack from every direction, while hidden Satyrs emerge from the shadows to ambush the party. After defeating the demonic Satyrs, Rexxar acquires the powerful Orb of Venom, greatly increasing his combat abilities. Determined to make the region safe, the party successfully slays all 50 Quillboars, completing yet another objective. Finally, Rexxar and Rokhan reach the Observatory. What they discover is deeply concerning: a massive fleet of human ships and war vessels gathering along the coast. This is no scouting expedition—it appears to be the beginning of a full-scale invasion. Realizing the danger, the heroes race back to warn Thrall. Their next mission is clear: return to the frontier and spy on the human forces before it is too late. The fate of Durotar may soon depend on what Rexxar discovers.
