Being a good communicator is not simply about speaking English well, having a loud voice, or speaking confidently. One of the most important communication skills is the ability to listen.
When a person is extremely angry, their ability to think clearly and solve problems can become limited. Giving them the opportunity to speak and express what they are feeling can gradually help them calm down and think more clearly.
I want to help you understand why listening can be so powerful during anger and conflict, how venting and “loud thinking” work, and why listening is an important quality for leaders, parents, spouses, and anyone dealing with people.

📝In This Video, You'll Understand:
• Why effective communication is more than speaking confidently
• How anger can affect critical thinking and problem-solving
• What the irradiation phenomenon means in this context
• Why allowing an angry person to speak can help them calm down
• How emotional and logical thinking can influence communication
• Why taking time during anger can change the way we respond
• How listening can help during conflicts with family, colleagues, or others
• Why listening ability is an important quality in leadership
• What “loud thinking” means and how talking can lead to clearer thinking

💡Key Reflection
Listening is not simply waiting for your turn to speak. Sometimes, giving a person the space to talk can help them move from intense emotion toward clearer thinking.
✓ Listen before reacting.
✓ Give an angry person time and space to express themselves.
✓ Use listening as a tool for better communication and leadership.
