From Quissico in Mozambique, in Africa, I have 10 kilometers of sand road to BulBul Backpackers, the place where I intend to stay, on a dune between lake Quissico and the Indian Ocean. At first, the road is difficult, but doable, but things get a little bit more complicated when I have to stop because I lost part of my load, and as I repack my trike, some young kids ask me for selfies. I tell them to be fast, but I can't get my trike ready fast enough to let the coming car through. The locals are really angry, they think the road belongs to them, and I face an unpleasant situation, a big argument over who will turn to let the others go through without turning. My trike can't go in deep sand, so I stand my ground and tell them to go on the deep sand with their 4*4. I am tired, I get defensive quite fast. But what an unpleasant bunch of ra* *st people. After that, I continue my struggle towards my place to stay, but the last kilometer becomes ridiculously hard, and I have to give up and get rescued about 300 meters from my goal. Then my trike falls.
