April 27th Demaree split success!!

Last year I attempted a Demaree split but was intimidated and left it too long. they ended up swarming with a virgin queen, I did however capture the swarm and they did good all year long but perished in the winter of 2024. this time i am more on time, I inspected hive #1 and found it to be really full so i added a box but was still concerned so on monday I started a demaree split, 6 days later now Sunday the 27th April I did another inspection with a solid plan to find the queen, and find queen cells in the queenless half, all went as planned so I am super happy enjoy the video. This is how I did a split, now to wait for a queen to emerge and hopefully get successfully mated and return.
