Abandoned Kubota Mini Excavator Gets an Extreme EVA Unit-01 Restoration!

An abandoned Kubota mini excavator with over 8,000 operating hours was waiting for a second chance. Covered in rust, heavily worn, and in desperate need of repair, this old machine was far from its former glory. I bought it for just $2 per kilogram and decided to give it a complete restoration, bringing every component back to life. The entire excavator was carefully disassembled. From repairing the frame and undercarriage to rebuilding the engine, restoring the hydraulic system, straightening damaged body panels, and refinishing the exterior, every detail received the attention it deserved. But this restoration had something special in store! I decided to give this Kubota mini excavator a completely new look inspired by EVA Unit-01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion, featuring its iconic purple and green color scheme. After countless hours of hard work, this rusty old machine has been transformed into something truly unique! There's nothing more satisfying than seeing an abandoned machine brought back to life.
