Ten years. When we started, the outlook for film photography felt dim — and for the cameras themselves, dimmer still. For a long time, honestly, it looked like an impossible battle. Yet here we are in a completely different world: film is alive, and for the first time most of the industry seems to be finding scalable ways to keep it that way. That felt worth celebrating — so we invited a small group over to Finland. We couldn't invite everyone we wanted and have met around the world over these years, so we did the next best thing and filmed it all for the thousands of you who've been part of this journey with us. This is the first video in a series. A full, no-doors-closed tour of our Tampere HQ with @Nicosphotographyshow, following the exact path a camera takes through the building — from the kiosk counter where it's bought, through inbound and the check queue, the testing bench and the mechanics' room, on to listing, the warehouse and the Valoi scanner workshop, and finally the "belly of the beast": the repair and spare-parts vaults. For privacy and security, almost all of this normally stays behind closed doors — even folks who travel all the way to Finland usually only get to see the little kiosk. For once, we're opening the whole thing up. So grab a coffee — this really is a long one — and come behind the scenes with us. And for the bigger conversation, the one about the community and the challenge we're all going to face over the next 10 years, that's in the keynote and interviews below. Thanks for being part of it.
