I Bought a Hat to Impress a Girl | Day 12

I bought this hat from a giant mouse because I’m trying to impress a woman. Which is not remotely how I expected Day 12 to go. Tomorrow is something called the Egg Festival, and since it'll be my first real Pelican Town gathering, I figured I oughta get fancied up a little. Turns out Pelican Town has no clothing store. None. What it DOES have is a giant mouse selling hats out of an abandoned house. So I bought one. I hate it. But somewhere between buying the stupid thing and walking back toward town, I finally found the woman I'd noticed when I first arrived in the valley. Her name is Leah. I gave her a spring onion. She loved it. And with that, I realized I'd finally managed to talk to everybody in Pelican Town. Then Abigail asked whether I was going to the Egg Festival tomorrow, which I'm choosing to interpret in the most optimistic way humanly possible. So apparently tomorrow I've got a festival, a new hat, and what may or may not be a date.
