Our journey through Palestine begins in the ancient city of Jericho, a place surrounded by thousands of years of history, faith, prophets and civilizations. In this vlog, we explore the story of Jericho and visit some of the most fascinating Islamic and historical sites connected to this ancient city. Our journey begins as we enter Jericho, one of the world's most ancient continuously inhabited cities. From here, we explore the place traditionally associated with Isa (AS) / Jesus Christ and his 40-day period of fasting and temptation in the wilderness. Standing in this historic landscape, it becomes incredible to imagine how many generations, civilizations and people have passed through this very region. But our journey through Jericho doesn't stop there. Along the way, we meet a Palestinian pomegranate juice seller, experience a glimpse of everyday Palestinian culture, and taste one of Palestine's most famous traditional dishes for the very first time Maqluba. Maqluba, which literally refers to something being “upside down,” is a traditional Palestinian dish made by layering rice, vegetables and meat, cooking it together, and then dramatically flipping the entire pot onto a serving plate. 🍚🇵🇸 After experiencing our first Palestinian meal, we continue towards one of the most important destinations of the journey Masjid and Maqam Nabi Musa (AS). Before entering the maqam, we explore the beautiful mosque and the surrounding complex, learning about its history and its connection with the Islamic heritage of the region. The site has a long history of development under Muslim rulers, and the complex became an important place of visitation associated with Musa (AS). Inside, we finally reach the place traditionally identified with the tomb of Nabi Musa (AS). Standing beside the maqam gives us an opportunity to remember the incredible life of Musa (AS) a prophet who stood against Pharaoh, spoke directly with Allah, led Bani Israel, and remained firm despite enormous trials. In this part of the video, we also discuss some beautiful moments from the Qur'anic story of Musa (AS), including his concern for his brother Harun (AS) and his famous supplication to Allah: رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ۝ وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي “My Lord, expand for me my chest and make my task easy for me.” We reflect on the story of Musa (AS), his relationship with Harun (AS), his struggles with Pharaoh, and the lessons that his life continues to teach Muslims today. From the ancient streets of Jericho, to the landscapes associated with Isa (AS), from tasting authentic Palestinian Maqluba, to meeting a local Palestinian juice seller, and finally standing at the Maqam of Nabi Musa (AS) — this journey gives us a glimpse into the history, culture and Islamic heritage of Palestine. This is not simply a travel vlog. It is a journey through history, faith, prophets, Palestinian culture and one of the oldest cities in the world. Welcome to Jericho. Welcome to Palestine. 🇵🇸 If you enjoyed this journey, don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE and follow us as we continue exploring the historical and Islamic sites of Palestine and the lands of the Prophets. #Jericho #Palestine #NabiMusa #MusaAS #HazratMusa #MaqamNabiMusa #NabiMusaAS #PalestineVlog #JerichoPalestine #PalestineTravel #PalestinianCulture #Maqluba #PalestinianFood #IslamicHistory #IslamicTravel #ProphetsOfAllah #IsaAS #Jesus #AncientJericho #OldestCity #AlAqsa #MuslimTravel #TravelVlog #Palestine2026 #DeenAndLife
