Here's what you need to know: Step 1: Apply the crackle varnish evenly, making sure to cover the entire surface. It goes on milky white, but don't worry, it becomes transparent as it dries. Step 2: Apply the second layer ONLY when the first one is completely transparent. Drying time varies depending on room temperature and humidity, so be patient! ✦ Cracks will start to appear after a few hours, in some cases after 24h or more. ✦ To reveal the cracks, apply paste wax or chalk paste over the surface. ✦ Always seal the finished piece with a solvent-based varnish.
