SyteLine Analytics: Running the Backdated Currency Rates Utility

This lesson was recorded in Fact-Trak 2023. The functionality is unchanged in Fact-Trak 2024. Explains why a currency rate entered after a record has been exported never reaches Fact-Trak, and how the backdated currency rates utility fixes it. The example is customer order 167 for BC Racing Cycles, where a 13:1 rate with a misplaced decimal was superseded by a 1.3:1 rate SyteLine ignored. Runs the utility from November 1, 2013, refreshes the bookings pivot table, then shows why the domestic rate still has to be changed on the order.
