Daniel in Babylon: The Tree and the Beast | Daniel Part 3

A tree that touches heaven, a voice that says cut it down, and a king who learns who rules, as the Book of Daniel tells it. Nebuchadnezzar dreams of a vast tree felled to a stump. Daniel, silent for an hour, tells him the tree is the king himself. A year later, on the palace roof, the king boasts of the Babylon he has built, and a voice falls from heaven. Seven times pass over him, until he lifts his eyes and understands. This is Part 3 of Daniel in Babylon, based on Daniel 4 (King James Version quotations). Scrolls and Embers tells Bible stories for quiet listening and reflection, with reverent narration and no sensationalism.
