Take Off the Mask | Unfiltered: Week 3

Are you tired of pretending you have it all together? In a world obsessed with appearances, comparison, and people's approval, it's easy to hide our struggles behind a mask. But what if following Jesus isn't about looking perfect, but allowing Him to transform you from the inside out? In Week 3 of our UNFILTERED: Following Jesus in a Filtered World series, we're discovering what it means to take off the mask, embrace authenticity, and stop living for the approval of others. In 2 Corinthians 3:16–18, Paul reminds us that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Jesus didn't come to help us maintain a better image. He came to transform our hearts, break the power of shame, and lead us into a life of freedom. You don't have to hide your struggles, pretend you're perfect, or earn God's love. When you turn to Jesus, you can experience the freedom of being fully known and deeply loved while becoming more like Him. It's time to stop pretending, start surrendering, and let God do His work in you. Remember: You don't have to be perfect to be transformed. You just have to be willing to surrender. 📍 Join us Sundays at 10:30AM at Asheville Middle School ⛪ Learn more or plan your visit: https://risechurch.tv #FollowingJesus #TakeOffTheMask #Unfiltered #Faith #Jesus #SpiritualGrowth #Authenticity #FreedomInChrist #ChristianLiving #BibleTeaching #HolySpirit #GodsGrace #Church #Transformation #RiseChurchAVL
