This video is part of a series covering the complete strip down and rebuild of a 1975 Triumph Trident T160 engine. This particular video shows a hydraulic clutch conversion being fitted. This replaces the original mechanical, cable operated system. It was relatively easy to fit but was a bit of a nightmare to bleed and make leak free, although the latter was mainly due to it having been fitted before so that the hydraulic hose was damaged at the end. Cutting the end of the hose back and using a new olive with plenty of PTFE tape sorted it. It appears to work well but we'll have to wait until the bike's on the road to test it properly.
